-Calra is a combined equipment of a night illumination tower and a heating system,
which enables workers to prevent frostbite during aircraft maintenance works in winter.
The name "G-Calra" originates from "Calor (standing for sunlight) and "Ra" (standing
for the Egyptian God of the Sun). The initial "G" is short for "Generator", which means
generator-operated products.
G-Calra's self power supply system adopts a three-cylindered generator rather than
a single-cylindered engine driving system of other companies' products.
As a consequence, G-Calra can dramatically reduce its noises. In the aspect of maintenance
cost, the repair cost can be much reduced compared to a single-cylindered engine which
breaks down easily.
